LEO II Pro Underwater Housing Review
By Rico Besserdich
The new LEO II PRO Video housing was created by the Italian housing manufacturer Easydive to meet the demands of photography professionals.
The main difference from all other underwater housings is that the camera controls are accessed electronically by using the camera’s mini-USB port. The heart of the housing is a matchbox- sized electronic unit that connects the camera to button panels that you’ll find on the right & left grips of the housing.
In recent years when major camera manufacturers are producing at least one new camera model every year, the need to buy a new underwater housing increases. This is because of changes in design such as different size controls and location of button positions. So the revolutionary idea of accessing most of
the camera functions electronically produces a very pleasing advantage: a multiple camera support.
